Skyscraper Night Belton

Skyscraper Night Belton

Here are some pictures from our “Skyscraper Night.” It was on April 17th from 4:30-6:30, in our Exploratorium.

There was a lot of parent participation and it was a really fun event for all the children and teachers. The local paper came, The Journal, and it will be featured in the paper!

Each classroom designed, made plans and constructed a unique tower for their own room. The children (and teachers) had a blast! Then all the buildings were put on display in the Exploratorium for the voting to begin. There were categories for the tallest, smallest, most creative, most colorful, most realistic, and most unusual materials.

Fall Festival in Belton

Fall Festival in Belton

Having fun!

We held our Annual Fall Festival Tuesday October 11th, 2011 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Creative World School in Belton. This event allows the children to dress up and experience lots of different games and activities happening in each classroom.

Our Fall Festival is an Open house Event, as the families arrived, each child would receive 10 tickets to spend in any room to participate in the activity! Each classroom held different activities and games including: Fruit Toss, Pumpkin Toss, picking a Pumpkin, Water Marbles/Pin the Stem on the Pumpkin, Cake Walk, Face Painting, Play dough, Musical Pumpkins, A Bean Find, Pumpkin Fishing, and Bottle Toss!

After participating in the activities, the children could choose prizes and candy. In addition to the fun and games, we also had a raffle drawing for the families to enter into. The prizes for the raffle included toys for different age groups!

The Exploratorium held the Cookie Decorating area and the Fall Photo Booth for the families to have their picture taken with their children!

The teachers even had a contest of their own! Each wing of classroom’s teachers competed to see who had the best costume and decorations! Infant Toddler wing had a Charlotte’s Web theme! The teachers dressed like animal characters from the story! The 3’s and 4’s wing decorated and dressed like Fall Faeries!

The Pre-K wing had a Johnny Appleseed theme and dressed up like characters to tell the story!

Overall, the Fall Festival was a huge success, showcasing our wonderful facility and the programs that we offer the children! It is always a great way to celebrate the fall season with the children and their families!

Our parents, children/families, teachers, and management staff had an awesome time at our Fall Festival CWB 2011!
